Welcome to Mermaid an AvantStay home! On a private road nestled between vineyards and farms lies Mermaid. Its elevated position makes it the best spot to catch an amazing sunset. The Mermaid's location is central to everything. It's only a mile from the famous Firestone brewery 5 minutes from all the main wineries in Paso Robles and just a short ride to the infamous Vineyard Drive. Explore the many unique antique shops and fine eateries in the historic Paso Robles downtown area only a 10-minute drive away. Or take a dip in the pool and enjoy the swim-up bar. This home is packed with so many exciting features you may never make it downtown! Our enormous backyard includes a sand volleyball court a shuffleboard bocce ball horseshoes an outdoor dining area lounge chairs and a waterfall. Fire torches are also placed around the pool for your use. Our home includes an oversized main dining table a bar area soft water radiant floor heating (for cozy warm toes!) arcade games (DDR air hockey Golden Tee) two smart TVs and a fish tank. Not just any fish tank but one created by the company behind HGTV's hit show Tanked! If guests are lucky they may get the chance to watch the fish tank get cleaned. A professional cleaner is required to jump directly into the large fish tank via scuba suit. That's something you don't see every day! We are not responsible for mail or packages that are shipped to the property. We do not have access to the mailboxes at many of our homes and cannot retrieve mail for our guests. If you choose to ship an item or mail to the property AvantStay is unable to receive or sign for the items on your behalf. We are not liable for items shipped to the property that are lost stolen or otherwise not received. Parking Details: 8 Spaces available with an additional 4 car garage. Please DO NOT park on the grass. All AvantStay guests have access to our 24/7 guest experience line a dedicated hospitality manager and hotel-grade amenities. As our guests we kindly ask that you respect our neighbors and the community by adhering to our house rules keeping all outside noise to a minimum and following shelter-in-place guidelines. We will not tolerate any excessive noise or partying and have the right to vacate you from the property should this be an issue. The bedroom & bathroom configuration is as follows: Bedroom 1 / King + ensuite bathroom Bedroom 2 / Two Queen Beds Bedroom 3 / King + jack & jill bathroom Bedroom 4 / Queen + jack & jill bathroom Bedroom 5 / Queen + ensuite bathroom that opens to the hallway Common Areas / 2 tri-folds mats / 3 non-sleeper sofas (2 in the game room and 1 in the living room) + 4th full bathroom located in the game room and leads directly out to the pool area. This home does not offer pool heat. Please note that if your reservation dates have been moved all cancellation policies remain attached to your original reservation date. Please refer to your rental agreement or house rules for more information. This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib available. A high chair can be provided upon request with at least 24hrs advanced notice. Just ask and we are happy to accommodate you and your little ones! There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health safety and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols while stockpiling reserves for all supplies in accordance with suggested practices from US and global health authorities. We're taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions and our team of professionals is working around the clock to ensure that we are over-prepared for any guest concerns that may arise. Our staff is also equipped with protective gear to maintain the safety of all parties. We are closely monitoring all guidelines and communications from the World Health Organization (WHO) the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and regional & national health authorities to update our best practices as the situation evolves. Please note that we do not provide speakers or sound systems for use in our properties. Pool heat is not included on your reservation cost. The pool is not heated during winter months from October - March and can only be heated from April - September. The temperatures and size of pool do not allow us to heat it in the winter time as it will not hold temperature. Pool heat is available for an additional fee and needs to be requested before your stay. We take the rules very seriously! Prior to booking please refer to the House Rules included in our listing and contact us with any questions. We care about being outstanding members of the communities we live in. Please note that per our house rules and local city ordinance occupancy limits and quiet hours are strictly enforced. Guests must be mindful of their noise levels at all times and respect the rules of the community. In order to ensure a continued great experience for our guests and our neighbors kindly note that any violation of these rules as well as complaints from neighbors and the city may result in a fine forfeiture of security deposit and could lead to immediate eviction. Anyone found to be violating noise ordinances will be subject to an immediate $500 fine in addition to City-imposed fines which can reach up to $10000 per violation Pets are only allowed at a select few of AvantStay's properties. Please reach out to our team to discuss your pet service or support animal. Un-authorized animals may be subject to a fine. Smoking is absolutely prohibited on the entire premises both within the house and on the property grounds. This includes smoking cigarettes cigars pipes or any other smoking device. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the full security deposit and damage liability of up to $2500 for any discovered damage to furniture or odors. We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud. ID verification required on most rental platforms. As a reminder we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if there are any vendors that fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
