Indian Beach, North Carolina is a historic seaside community located just west of Pine Knoll Shores. Indian Beach is a small cozy community consisting mostly of vacation homes. At last count, there were about 60 permanent households. A few descendents of the early settlers still live in Indian Beach; however this population is dwindling as the population of transplants continues to grow.

While vacationing on these barrier islands, it’s highly encouraged that you take day trips to lighthouses and outer banks sight that you will not find anywhere else. Local restaurants specialize in fresh caught seafood, but provide choices for everyone. Any last minute needs are nearby in major chain stores, top line grocery stores, and emergency medical care without the big city, tourist center craziness.
