This narrow gorge is about a quarter mile of huge overhanging ledges and caves that will leave you in awe of nature’s beauty! The final landmark you must see is Cedar Falls. Found in the Lower Gorge portion of Old Man’s Cave, this waterfall is the largest in terms of volume. All these sites are so picturesque that you will not be able to put down your camera! If you’re looking for activities other than hiking amongst the Hocking Hills, then you should grab your kayak or canoe! The Hocking River is a perfectly leisure way to experience the hills like no other. If you’d rather go the trails but not walk them, you can take either an ATV or take a horseback tour! If you’re feeling bold, 99 acres of the forest have been set aside for rock climbing and rappelling. You won’t need to even hike out far for this, thanks to the nearby parking you can start your rock climbing as soon as you’d like. When you’ve had enough of walking amongst the trails, you should try travelling through the treetops! There are a few zipline tours that will shoot you through the tree tops and give you an entirely new perspective of the park!
Moving back to Logan, you’ll find the city is full of life! To fill all you’re shopping desires, you should go to Hocking Hills Market where you can find many small shops perfect for finding a souvenir. You can also try Logan Antique Mall where you can find many unique pieces of furniture, jewelry, or china! For your homemade goodies, you can go to Ruby’s Country Cupboard to get candles, jellies, jams, and more! After you’re done shopping you must try one of the many local restaurants! If you want some homestyle pizza, you can go to Pizza Crossing or if you want a Southern experience like no other, you must go to Millstone BBQ.
