Vacation Rental Description

We want you to know we are doing our part to ensure that our guests' stays with us will be as safe as possible and have instituted three measures to maintain a safe stay.

First, prior to your visit the premises will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected consistent with the CDC's guidelines.

Second, for additional precautions, guests' stays will be spaced further apart by implementing earlier check-outs and later check-ins.

Third, all of our staff who are involved in the preparation of the home for our guests' stays will have been thoroughly cleared for health issues.

This cozy 1BR is within short walking distance of restaurants, shops and parks/running trails in the calm and prestige neighborhood of Madison Park, located near Arboretum between villages of Madison Park & Madison Valley. Enjoy the private garden space with a grill and dining set. Freshly remodeled unit with all the modern comforts and loaded with amenities. Perfect for a romantic getaway or to escape the daily bustle with some peace in solitude. Sleeps 2.

THE SPACE
This entire space was designed so that if you have forgotten anything, we have you covered. You will find thoughtfully placed amenities throughout the home to further the effort in ensuring you have the most comfortable stay. The bedroom is flooded with light from the charming bay window and comes complete with a high-end queen mattress and alternative down comforter for a cloud-like night's sleep. In front of the bedroom windows, a practical workspace is set up for you to work remotely before exploring the area or to simply check your morning emails. Enjoy the moderate Seattle weather in your private patio space! Grill up some goods found at a local market (Pikes Place, anyone?) or bring out your homemade coffee and local baked treats to the outdoor dining space before starting your day. Indulge yourself with an intimate candlelight dinner for two: “the patio space is magical at night” -guest. If you 're feeling up to exploring the area, enjoy a bottle of wine at some of the best restaurants in Seattle within walking distance to the house. THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The Garden on Madison places you in a quiet, friendly neighborhood just minutes away from bustling humanity! The affluent, picturesque neighborhood of Madison Park is one of the oldest and wealthiest in the city and is central to everything Seattle has to offer. The residential streets off Madison St. are quiet and lined with gorgeous cottages and mansions- perfect for a morning run or evening stroll. Following Madison Street, you eventually reach Lake Washington, and the grassy slopes of Madison Park leading down to a 400-foot beach with cement steps on the north and a short sandy beach to the south. The beach includes a bathhouse with restrooms, bike rack, benches, baby swings, new play equipment for kids including climbing features, two tennis courts, beach w/ lifeguard chairs, and big grassy slope to lounge on. The Park offers a beautiful view to the East of the floating bridge and the Cascades beyond. The area around the park itself is filled with boutiques, family-friendly shops, and a few more upscale bistros. At the west end of the neighborhood, where Madison Street intersects the Lake Washington Boulevard (and the entrance to the sprawling Washington Park Arboretum), you find another cluster of shops, bakeries, and restaurants, including Nishino, one of the best Sushi places in the city, and just a little further up the hill in the adjacent Madison Valley neighborhood you find even more shopping.

GETTING AROUND
We're located near public transportation, with several bus stops within walking distance to downtown Seattle, Fremont, South Lake Union, or the University District for the University of Washington. You can also drive into downtown Seattle (and the University District) in about 15 minutes, and Uber/Lyft are widely available. Parking is available in the designated one-car parking spot behind the house. Street parking is available in front of the house on Madison Street.
