Getting to Your Ocean City Condo or Ocean City House Rental

Ocean City is a barrier island with two roadways that cross the Assawoman Bay on the north and the Isle of Wight Bay on the south. The Ocean City Expressway, Highway 90, crosses the water and lands at 62nd Street. For a couple of miles north and south of this point are Ocean City condominiums and vacation houses in Ocean City. The barrier island is primarily four blocks wide so condos in Ocean City are not all on the oceanfront. Some vacation houses in Ocean City are on the waterfront and face the bay. The other roadway leading to the Ocean City beaches is Highway 50, Ocean Gateway. This crosses into Ocean City at its southern tip, near 1st Street. If you are driving from the north to Ocean City, you can reach this beach town via Delaware’s Highway 1 which comes right down the coast from Rehoboth Beach, VA to Maryland.
