Vacation Rental Description

This cozy two-bedroom basement suite can sleep up to 5 guests at a time. The apartment boasts a carefully curated interior, open-concept living spaces, king sized beds, and in-suite laundry machines! The Regent Park neighbourhood is best known for its sense of community, large green spaces and independently owned cafes where locals can grab their morning cup of coffee. The apartment is an easy commute to downtown Toronto in less than 10 minutes by car or 30 minutes by foot.

The Space:
This basement level condo features two King sized beds, plus a pull out sofa in the living room. It can comfortably host up to 5 guests at a time, and is in a great location in the Regent Park neighbourhood of Toronto.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher), and there's loads of countertop space for prepping meals. The suite features a dedicated work space with high speed internet connection, if you absolutely must get some work done!

There is one bathroom with a shower-in-tub design, and in suite laundry machines as well. We provide fluffy bathrobes, slippers, fresh linens and towels for your use.

The amenity room located on the 5th floor is equipped with free Wi-Fi and workstations overlooking downtown. The amenity room also provides a space to watch television, play games and socialize.

The Neighborhood:
The Regent Park neighbourhood is best known for its sense of community, large green spaces and independently owned cafes where locals can grab their morning cup of coffee. The apartment is an easy commute to downtown Toronto in less than 10 minutes by car or 30 minutes by foot.

The new Regent Park Community Centre is the hub of this community. In addition to recreational facilities this centre includes an employment centre, a teaching kitchen, community hall, meeting rooms and a rooftop garden. The centre is attached to the Nelson Mandela Park Public School and the Nelson Mandela Child Care Centre.

The new Regent Park Aquatic Centre located at 640 Dundas Street East (east of Parliament St.) is now open. The high-tech, fully accessible aquatic facility was constructed with input from the local community. It features a lap pool, leisure pool, therapy pool, Tarzan rope, diving board, waterslide, and large sliding glass doors that open onto a sun terrace.

The Regent Park Community Centre, at 203 Sackville Green, has a gymnasium, a games room, an arts and crafts room, and a weight room.

The Regent Park Recreation Centre, at 415 Gerrard Street East, includes a small gymnasium, a meeting room, and an outdoor pool.

There are two outdoor artificial ice rinks in Regent Park. The Regent North rink is located north of Dundas Street East, and west of River Street. The Regent South rink is located at Shuter and Sumach Streets. These two single surface rinks have allotted times for pleasure skating, permit hockey, shinny hockey, learn to skate and hockey school programs.

Regent Park also has a baseball diamond, a swimming pool, and many small parks, some of which contain a children’s playground and a wading pool.

The Parliament Street Public Library on Gerrard Street East offers a variety of programs for children and adults.

Getting Around:
Public transit is easily accessible, the Queen St streetcar is just a few minutes away from the apartment. It's also minutes away from the subway and the Go Bus Station. The Union Pearson Express train takes you directly to and from the airport in under 33 minutes. Uber's are always readily available.

The unit is a 30-minute drive to the airport (without traffic).

Other Things to Note:
• Please ensure that your bicycle is stored in the basement. The bicycle room in the lobby is reserved for visitors only to store their bicycles.

Even when the expected delivery date is within your stay, we do not recommend placing orders that must be shipped to your vacation rental property.
